We've discarded the ideathat future astronauts wear spandex suits and silver lipstick, and now ourheroes get to wear real clothes. They have adventures and super technology andthey meet aliens and save the galaxy again and again.
But when I look at the science fictionstories that have appealed to me the most, I see that they focus on thecharacters. Their plights, faults, idiosyncrasies are what give life to thebackdrop of planets and space ships. I suppose you could place Han, Leia, andLuke in a contemporary setting right here on planet Earth and it would work.It's still a fun story without the lightsabers. But without the characters' story,a big chunk of Star Wars would lackconsiderable luster.

I very much enjoyed the peek into a story that I think many would enjoy. The designs are printed on one side of the page only and the edges of each page have good perforations which make it easy to remove from the book.
