This book is intended for those who are overweight. Way too simplistic. It works. There are no super powers, flying, super villains, nor plots to take over the world. It rates 5 stars even as it is in this first printing. I purchased one of the first editions many years ago. OH MY GOD! I don't know where to begin! The romance? HOT! The mystery of who really was The Woman and the mastermind behind the kidnapping? A little predictable, but whoa, talk about a psycho, who is so unglued from reality it's scary. diets. it was not what I EXPECTED very little info on difference of model years ex 2009 and 2012. I've had the book for a couple weeks now, and have read much of the way through the book (approximately 24 chapters). This is due to the complexity and completeness of TCM. It does give a very good flavor of what modern piracy and pirates are like.
The "practical advice" reads like a list of things the author was told during interviews with captains and crews of ships. Having
