The SQL Server 2014 In-Memory OLTP engine (a.k.a. Hekaton) is designed from the ground up to exploit terabytes of available memory and high numbers of processing cores. It allows us to work with memory-optimized tables and indexes, and natively compiled stored procedures, in addition to the disk-based tables and indexes, and T-SQL stored procedures, that SQL Server has always provided. The first 30% of the book was about writing résumés, and searching for jobs. But it was well written(as usual) a lot of sex(maybe a bit more than usual) but a good story. As with all of the Creative Haven books that I have used in the past, these are on a bright white page that is a fairly heavy stock. Over the years, I used Hecht's Physics book for quick refreshers on various topics, occasionally learning minor but interesting details that I hadn't encountered during my undergraduate education. It is a worthwhile read for the ever expanding adult amateur dressage rider population, that decide to embark on the journey of learning dressage and potentially training the average horse up through the higher dressage levels.
The highs and lows of this type of riding pair is very well described in casual conversational detail that simply flows from start to end. The book title says "What so funny", are you kidding me, every other meme in the book is damn funny. A must have
