The master healer (Tom Tam) was, at that time, interested in healing cancer. I ordered this book because it's a required text for one of my first-year graduate courses in marriage and family therapy, but I'm finding it to be one of the most dry, boring books I've ever had to push myself through. This is a small bulletin, not a book. In fact, I wish every parent could read this book before their child even has their first ear infection - the downward spiral of antibiotic, after antibiotic, nutritional deficiencies, elimination of beneficial bacteria, ear tubes, adeniodectomy, etc can happen so quickly it can be hard for the child to rebound from. It includes gorgeous photos and interesting text. Also, you'll see the people in Runyon's life who he based some of his most Runyonesque characters on, and people who based their lives off of his characters. I know I am!.
