I felt than the second half of Chapter 4 on range indexes struggled to eloquently describe the technical nuances of the bw-tree data structure. The author after having covered the different modes of failure in earlier chapters treats surface failure in a separate chapter. Despite the emotional angst, action, and thrills we do get to see the behind the scenes romantic, laidback, and sexy times of Dallas and Jane which is really special considering everything that they've gone through to get to this point.
