We are assigned work from the book and then go over it class. The chapters only breeze through aspects of blueprints and I'm regularly confronted with questions that aren't explained at all. Now imagine doing this without hindsight. The last chapter presents case studies in machine design and the author here has done an excellent job. The book stresses the positive being done by our involvement in Iraq. I really like how she included all the little stories and photos.
Read it for the story, not the writing.. As a student pilot I read this book in preparation for night flying. Jimmy Breslin's biography of Damon Runyon and the attendant stories of the characters and scoundrels of New York City is very colorful and at times a fun read but the book is so full of factual errors, typos and cynicism that I found it difficult to get through. He received an athletic scholarship from Holy Cross, an enormous accomplishment in his eyes, and he was grateful for the opportunity. . Why is
