As a physician , I opened this book for a laughter at first but something strange happenedI was astonished to see a hard working scientist's theory to give results like this. Olivia is such a great character, very stubborn and hard headed. Earlier this year, I decided to read the book cover to cover (bedtime reading) to catch all the tidbits in the sections I hadn't yet perused. I approached My Navy Too differently than most readers because I was a WorldWar II submarine skipper as was the author's Father, RADM Jack Coye; I knew the author as a young lady, and followed her career. I went to two different schools for my undergrad and masters and encountered this book in two different research methods classes. This is a good review of minority religious practices in Los Angeles and, more generally, in the US South West. He makes it easy to remember the potent techniques and insights he lays out. H
